My 26-page illustrated picture book, GO, GROW, GLOW, a heartwarming story that teaches valuable life skills about bullying and self-empowerment, geared to children ages three to seven and their families and educators.
In my story, after young Tony is bullied on the school bus, he is upset and does poorly on the spelling test he’s studied so hard for. To make things worse, his best friend gossips about his hurtful family secret. Feeling dejected, Tony’s teacher gives him a new mantra that empowers him to take control of his life: GO boldly—always think positive and believe in himself. GROW broadly—be open to learning new things. GLOW brightly—never forget he is a bright light in the world. Tony is so excited about his newfound confidence that he wants to share his new skill with all the students…so they can GO, GROW, GLOW too!
