Our world is a very magical place, and there’s a lot of beauty in it, from small things like flowers, snowflakes, and rainbows to entire seasons.
Every season of the year is unique. And sometimes, in the gentleness of spring or in the warmth of summer, we even see smiles and laughs that look and sound like those of real people.
Well, in the magical world of Lunora, all of the seasons were real and alive. And not only them, but many others like leaves, stars, and even planets, all lived in perfect harmony in their own kingdoms.
All of the kingdoms in Lunora were unique and special. But the most special of all was the Kingdom of the Seasons.
Spring, Summer, Winter, and Autumn were all siblings. They lived together in the middle of the kingdom, in a big Castle of Seasons. Each sibling had different magical powers that could change the season, not only in their own kingdom but in all of Lunora.
Winter was the oldest brother of the siblings. He was also the tallest, with pale skin, sparkling blue eyes, and messy, snowy white hair. He was the one who always started a new year. And he brought in the cold and all the frozen lakes and fluffy snow.
Winter was the leader and always the responsible one, taking charge and taking care of the others. He could be strict sometimes, but he was always kind and wanted the best for everyone.
Spring was the second-oldest sister. She wore green dresses and had bright flowers braided into her long, golden hair. Her singing and her laughter were high and melodic, ringing like bells. She took the cold away and melted all the snow, bringing all the animals out of hiding. She brought the rains and flowers and Easter. Spring was friendly and adventurous, and really curious about the world outside their kingdom.
Summer, the younger brother, came next. Small and bursting with energy and happiness, he had dark, curly hair and tan skin. He brought the warmth, the brightness, the long days, the shining sun, and the long holidays. He was loud, carefree, and fun-loving, with a loud laugh and a bright smile. Summer was always full of energy and eager to help everyone.
Autumn’s turn came last, as she was the youngest of the Seasons. Her long, dark brown hair always fluttered in the wind surrounding her, and her large brown eyes were full of kindness. She cooled the world down. She also brought the soft rains, colorful autumn leaves, and cozy blankets to read under. Autumn was very gentle, shy, and kind, and was the quietest of the four siblings. She was also very smart.
All the siblings used their powers through a magical crystal ball. It glowed and shimmered with bright colors. And it spread magic and the change of seasons to all other kingdoms around Lunora.
Each of the Season siblings would get a chance to use the crystal ball for three months. Then the next season would step up and take their turn. This was how the seasons changed every year, from Winter to Spring to Summer, then to Autumn and to Winter again.
Most of the time, the siblings lived happily in total harmony. But occasionally, when it was time for the seasons to change, things happened.
And that’s where this story begins…
