What Inspired You to Write Your Book?

As a father, educator, athlete and coach, I have taught and worked extensively with children and have a love for all sports. My unique experience, skills and beliefs have come together to develop this innovative children’s publishing program.
The goal is to provide families with engaging materials, giving children the opportunity to experience early literacy success. These highly visual, play-by-play, sports action stories are tailor made to engage with children in an exciting way with their reading and literacy development. The stories, with descriptive rhyming commentary, are fun for both children and sports fans of all ages. Like having front row seats to real game action. The series is particularly engaging for boys and their parents, grandparents, care-givers and adult-male role models in their lives.
Book Sample
The following text is from the " The Baseball Game Is On! " (Coach – B.Ed.)
Each verse describes a full color, play-by-pay, game action scene.
“Go! Eagles! Soar-High!”, some fans cheer up in the stands.
“Go! Sharks-On-The-Hunt!”, others shout, clapping their hands
The Eagles are ready to play defense, and get three outs.
The batter and runner are set, “play ball,” the umpire shouts
The pitcher checks the runner, he goes into his wind up.
The runner waits. Will he go? It’s time to make his mind up.
The pitcher turns. The Shark goes! He takes off with great speed.
The pitcher steps to throw, as the Shark took a good lead.
A swing and a miss! The catcher stands up, to make a throw.
He aims for second base, as he sees the Shark runner go.
The Shark looks for second base, he runs, and slides for the bag.
The ump calls, “OUT!” The Eagle with the ball, puts on the tag.
The fans are so excited, on the edge of their seats!
And they are nervous, no time for cell phone calls or tweets!
