What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
It’s the first in the Kippi series, which is designed to help children over come their fears. As a child, I was always very fearful. I never had anything to turn to in order to help curb those fears. After my grandfather passed away, I had a hard time coping. I thought to myself, if I’m a grown woman struggling with this concept, what must a child be feeling? Thus, Kippi the Conqueror was born.

At the top of the stairs stood a door
and behind it pitch black.
I thought for a moment about turning back.
"Step inside," Granddad said.
"I promise it'll be all right.

to get back to the light."
