What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Like many people, I used to think spider were strange and scary. I definitely didn't want them in my house or hanging out around me! As I've started to explore nature more, though, I began to notice just how many different kinds of spiders there are—small ones, big ones, orange ones, gray ones, round spiders, spiky spiders, shiny spiders, and even fuzzy spiders!
Spiders are just as scared of humans as we sometimes are of them. They're also amazing predators, eating pesky mosquitoes, aphids, and other nuisance bugs. I wrote this book to help children appreciate the wide variety of spiders there are around the world.
