“Timbo and a Fair Cop” is an adventure story about a small mouse who lives with his friends and family in a little village called Buttoned-Bootsville. In reality, this is just a small patch the end of a human family’s garden. Timbo wants to be a great detective when he grows up, but an opportunity presents itself early when his family’s heirloom grandfather clock is stolen. The book is fully illustrated with watercolours by the author. Can you guess whodunnit?

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Writing and illustrating children’s books has allowed me to combine two of my principal interests – writing and drawing. I loved reading adventure stories as a child and still feel inspired when my memory returns to the way those books used to make me feel. Now I teach courses in children’s literature at the university level, I thought it was about time that I put some of my own efforts out there.
