What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I am a school librarian and love picture books, fairy gardens, and rocks. I wrote my first flower fairies story when I was a teenager. I wish I still had a copy.
Now I have grandkids. I took home the fairies that I'd bought to decorate the library. My grandkids have loved playing with them and my rock collection. The book evolved from there.
Suddenly, Owl interrupted. “WHO do you think you are, anyway? Is this any way to make a new friend? When you act like this, the world turns gray. You are not elephants! Gray looks good on elephants; it does not look good in gardens. This garden does not have any elephants.”
