Lily has no idea her kind heart is going to change the world. When she sees Matt by himself at the neighborhood park, Lily realizes he may feel alone and out of place. Knowing she would be sad if she were there by herself, Lily chooses to brighten Matt’s day. After creating a drawing of a happy, smiling girl, Lily and her friends decide to give Matt the drawing and a colorful bundle of flowers, letting him know that he is welcome in their lives.
Lily’s random act of kindness changes everything.
Cherishing his drawing, Matt names the girl in the picture Carry Kindness. When Matt learns of a far-away friend’s sadness, he sends a Carry Kindness to brighten up his friend’s day. Soon, Carry Kindness travels her way across the nation, spreading kindness to one person at a time.
Carry Kindness is always ready and willing to travel near or far to change someone’s life. After all, everything is better with kindness.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Like so many, I was picked on in school and I created Carry Kindness as an interactive way for kids to practice being kind. Everything is better with kindness!
Readers, young and old, will enjoy the illustration of Carry Kindness at the back of the book. Children can color their own Carry Kindness and begin to spread kindness to all of their friends-or even strangers from afar. Carry Kindness can't do it alone! Join with her to further her mission to carry kindness all over the world.
Drawing on her first schoolyard memory of being the new kid at school and the resulting intimidation she experienced, Nancy Raciti has become an advocate for kindness. Influenced by the research that shows children learn kindness best by rehearsing it, Nancy created Carry Kindness®. Carry is a fun and interactive way for kids to practice being kind. Previously a full-time voice actor, Nancy Raciti now uses her voice to share the message of kindness. The Adventures of Carry Kindness is her first children's book.
