What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
As a librarian, I hear parents' thoughts, praises, and concerns about books firsthand. One summer I noticed lots of parents mentioning how there really aren't many good books on the topic of sun protection. I did some research, and they were right! I found a small handful of older titles and some very didactic-looking self-published titles.
I knew then that I could create a fun and whimsical book on the topic of sun safety to fill that gap in the picture book industry.
