What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The book is based loosely on my own story. I was adopted in 2010 during the earthquake in Haiti. I always wanted to share that story in some form. I also wanted to share the concept of family is who you make it and explore others to a multi-cultural, and interacial family. I want to inspire others to chase after their dreams and to not wait as I published this book at only 19 years old.
