What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I am the victim of assault. I want to use my experiences to inspire conversations about consent between children and trusted adults in order to empower children to know how to set boundaries and also recognize the boundaries of others.
Setting boundaries for my body makes me feel strong and important. A good friend will respect my boundaries because he cares about how I am feeling. When someone thinks about my feelings before they act, this is respect.
