Milton moved in to a new house of cheese,
with his mom, dad, and sister, Louise.
It looked so good and smelled so nice,
they all were tempted to try a slice.
When Milton discovers crumbs in the hallway, he puts on his detective hat to solve the mystery by gathering clues and using deductive reasoning.
But, can he catch the culprit in time to save their home?

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This book was inspired in many little ways by the friends and family surrounding me at the time. Going for a walk or chatting over dinner would inevitably include some Dr. Seuss style rhymes, and birthdays always included a custom, silly poem. I'm also a fan of mysteries and detective stories, always have been. I think I was playing with one of my kitties when the name Milton McMicey popped into my head, and it sure lit up my imagination! There was a lot to learn about the technical aspects of writing, illustrating, and publishing a children's picture book, but I love to learn and try to overcome challenges. In the end, I completed every aspect myself, right down to the formatting, and I couldn't be more proud of myself!

Milton moved in to a new house of cheese,
with his mom, dad, and sister, Louise.
With swiss walls and cheddar floors,
a mozzarella roof and muenster doors,
it looked so good and smelled so nice,
they all were tempted to try a slice.
So the family gathered for a meeting,
to agree this cheese is not for eating.
But, later that night Milton walked down the hall
and saw that someone had been eating the wall!
