What do you do when a puppy knocks on your door and your heart?
You let her in, of course.
And life for the Taylor family hasn’t been the same since.
Follow Maggy and her tail as she finds trouble at every wag. From the park, to school, to even a wedding and a hockey game, Maggy’s tail causes mischief and mayhem.
Mr. Taylor wants Maggy gone but when her first owner claims her for his puppy mill will Mr. Taylor change his mind?
Each chapter stands alone as a story but also combines to tell the tale of how Maggy and the Taylor’s become a family.
A super fun read.
Targeted Age Group: 6-9
I live in Port Coquitlam, BC. a suburb close to Vancouver. It is a beautiful place to live and we are blessed with a trail close to our house which is perfect for walking a dog. My kids are grown up but live nearby so we still spend lots of time together. I am working on a second novel and have a few more children’s pictures that just need illustrating before being published. I have taken several writing classes at the UBC writing centre and have met some great professionals that have improved my writing immensely. I am always striving to be a better writer and love to read and travel. Travelling is a great way to find new characters.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Maggy is based on our dog. She had a crazy tail that never stopped wagging. She was always happy. We loved her very much and this way I have her around forever. I believe that everyone should a waggy tail in their life. No matter what happens as long as you have a family that loves you then everything will be ok.
