What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
As a sixteen year old, the second of six children, I have experienced and witnessed many kid antics. My siblings and I tried to deflect attention or hide our misdeeds, but being patient with a sense of humor our parents taught us lessons in the most effective ways. I wrote this book as a tribute to my parents especially and all the parents who guide their children and teach them important lessons without the drama and hurt feelings.
About the Author:
Shani Eichler is 16 years old and a junior in high school. She is the second of six children in her family and the oldest girl so she has a lot of experience taking care of children (especially since her older brother does NOTHING). Shani is an avid reader, skilled artist — though her father is yet to hang any of her paintings — and an aspiring author. Shani is also trained in first aid and CPR and actively volunteers for a local ambulance service. She plans to go to medical school and become a doctor, but not a pediatrician: Too many runny noses and sore throats! – Shani is a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and House M.D.
