What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
When I was young, my dad used to say to me every night, "I'll meet you at the rainbow, princess". When I had children of my own, I passed that saying along to them. I expanded it by having them pick a color we would meet on. We would then take turns explaining what we would bring and what we would do on that color in our dreams. I would then set the oil diffuser to the color we were meeting on so it would illuminate the room in a warm dim of that color. I felt it would help them, as it helped me when I was younger, rid their minds of any worries or anxieties because they would be excited thinking about the adventure we were about to have in our dreams.
I’ve always had a passion for children’s books and I figured with my children in school full time it was the perfect time. I wanted to be able to help other children learn and I figured our “rainbow adventure” would be a great story to tell and in turn help other children. Whether education wise or emotionally.
I love you my dear now it’s time to sleep. On the rainbows color red is where we will meet.
So hop on your unicorn and enjoy the ride. Let’s look for red items that we can find.

Jillian Rodriguez is a wife, a stay at home mom to two beautiful girls and the author of the new children’s book, “I’ll Meet You at the Rainbow”. Before Jillian transitioned into being a stay at home mom, she was a preschool teacher for 8 years.
She first began studying early childhood education in high school where she received some of her credentials and was president of the Florida Future Educators of America club. She then went on to get her Associates degree and continued studying early childhood education at FAU.
One thing she has always had a soft spot in life for was a good children’s book. “I don’t know why but I truly fall in love with them.” With both of her children now in school full time, she decided it was the perfect time to write one!
She hopes everyone enjoys her book and hopes to write more children’s books in the future.
