What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
At the beginning I just wanted to make nice t-shirts for my 2 daughters (7 and 12) with unicorns. Then their friends wanted to have one too. These little girls have brothers who wanted something else than unicorns, of course! So a dinosaur was designed… then the Instagram Creatober challenge attracted the TokiPY team and we started to create a whole detailed universe for Yuni the unicorn and Diploo the dinosaur (and 3 other characters).
In november 2020, at the end of the challenge, we realized we created more than 30 art prompts!
How could we create something to show our work and also to let the kids play with them?
We had the idea to create a coloring book.
Firstly we wanted just to create a small one, but after we said "why not ABC and 123?"…and also "why not funny games?"… and we finished 105 pages of pure and original creation dedicated to kids 🙂

The concept of “the zen activity and coloring book"
We made this book for kids and our top priority was to let them have fun!
This is why we added a mix of letters, numbers, various games and coloring pages, all 100% original, that your child has never seen or played before.
Almost all the pages can be colored, but you will find 10 dedicated coloring page illustrations from the TokiPY world.
Most of the activities can be found on the right-hand pages, so you do not have to choose between which drawing you want to color or which activity to do.
Why are the numbers and letters in disorder?
The ABC’s & 123’s are taught and memorized daily at school, so we grouped them by shape and difficulty. This way, your child can practice and play with fun, instead of struggling with the straight lines of “A” followed with the curved lines of “B”!
On these pages, there is a big letter your child can color, and also practice understanding the shape by tracing over it with their finger. There are traditional areas to practice the calligraphic stroke and a game or drawing.
We also included two simple fonts styles in the practicing areas for your child to learn the variations of shapes and different ways of tracing.
Why are there no hints to the puzzles and games in this book?
We want to let your child discover the page; to have a break, take time to think, wonder “why the page is like this?”, “how can I play with it?” and develop their imaginations.
We give many clues on each page’s puzzle to make sure that no one gets stuck.
