What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This is the thirteenth volume in a series called 'Think You Know Your States?' I started the series for a few different reasons. Most importantly, I love geography and history. Traveling is always high up on things I love. This book series kind of combines all of that together. The other reason was that I realized how little my daughter (now eleven) knew about US history or geography. I thought it would be a fun adventure for her to help me with some of the books in the series. I also thought it'd be a fun, easy-to-understand way for children and adults of all ages to learn something new.
