About the Book:
First grade, first day at school.
How many expectations, how much excitement and how much renewal hide within this term! And yet, more often than not we meet wonderful first-graders who have mixed emotions: on the one hand, they are happy and excited with their many new experiences at school, but on the other hand they face tasks which require them to be organized – a skill which is new and unfamiliar to them.
The purpose of this book is to present to the child, in an experiential way, the organizational rules required at school. First graders will find themselves in at least one of the situations Tammy describes in the book. They will identify themselves with Tammy and, in a fascinating way, acquire the class rules in various fields: organizing the schoolbag, arranging the pencil box contents, following the bell’s signal, and more.
So come on, children, let’s go find out
what Tammy’s secrets are all about!
